Baptism | Baptismal Preparation Class | Confirmation | First Eucharist/First Reconciliation | Marriages | Pre-Cana
The Sacrament of Baptism for infants is usually celebrated on the first, second and third Sundays of the month at 1:00 p.m. in the Church. Arrangements must be made by calling the Parish Center and arranging the date with Julie Olski - 732.747.5466.
Godparents must supply a Sponsor Certificate, also called a Letter of Eligibility, from their Parish. This states that they are a member of that Parish, have been Baptized and Confirmed, are over the age of 16 and are practicing Catholics.

Scheduled for May 3 & 10, 2008
First Reconciliation
Scheduled for November 17, 2007
For additional information, call the Religious Education office at 732.530.0717.
Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation begins in 6th grade religious education class, and culminates with the reception of the sacrament at the Confirmation Ceremony in the Fall of 8th grade.
This year the Confirmation Ceremony is scheduled for October 11, 2007.
Students are required to attend weekly classes, a Confirmation Retreat and an Evening of Recollection.
Each student must choose the name of a Saint as his/her Confirmation name and write a report on the life of this Saint. Students must also complete 25 hours of service time and choose a Sponsor.
Sponsors must be practicing Catholics, have received the sacraments of Baptism and Confirmation and be 16 years or older. A Sponsor may be a relative, but not a parent.
All necessary forms must be completed and submitted to the Religious Education Office. For additional information, call the Religious Education Office at 732.530.0717.
Please call the Parish Center one year in advance to make arrangements.
Pre-Cana - Attending a Pre-Cana class prior to the marriage is a mandatory requirement of the Diocese. It is offered here at St. Leo's twice a year. In 2007, we will be hosting a Pre-Cana Weekend November 10/11.
Engaged couples are responsible for registering for Pre-Cana as soon as their wedding date is set. Pre-Cana classes are also available at other parishes throughout the Diocese of Trenton.
To register here at St. Leo's, please email Kathy & George Doehner at gdoehner@comcast.net
Any married couples interested in joining the Pre-Cana Team are welcome. If you are interested or have a question, please email gdoehner@comcast.net
