The Sacrament of Baptism for infants is usually celebrated on the first and third Sundays of the month at 1:00 p.m. in the Church. Arrangements must be made by calling the Parish Center and arranging the date with Julie Olski - 732.747.5466.
Godparents must supply a Sponsor Certificate, also called a Letter of Eligibility, from their Parish. This states that they are a member of that Parish, have been Baptized and Confirmed, are over the age of 16 and are practicing Catholics.
Baptismal Preparation Class for parents will be held in the Parish Center on Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. as follows:
2012: January 10, February 7, March 13, April 10, May 8, June 5, July 10, August 7, September 11, October 9, November 13 (None in December)
Please call the Parish Center to schedule the date of attendance.
First Eucharist/First Reconciliation
To help prepare the children in second grade to receive the Sacraments, we have set forth the following requirements:
| The parents are to attend parent meetings. | |
| The students are to complete all lessons and assignments in class. | |
| They are to attend the First Eucharist Retreat and complete a banner. | |
| They are to be familiar with the Examination of Conscience and know the Act of Contrition, Ten Commandments and the basic prayers. | |
| The Religious Education students are to attend weekday class regularly, as well as three Sunday classes per year. | |
| A Baptismal Certificate is required when registering. |
First Eucharist Ceremony
Scheduled for April 28, May 5, May 19, 2012
First Reconciliation
Scheduled for February 11, 2012

Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation begins in 6th grade religious education class, and culminates with the reception of the sacrament at the Confirmation Ceremony in the Fall of 8th grade.
This year (2012) the Confirmation Ceremony is scheduled October TBD.
Students are required to attend weekly classes, a Confirmation Retreat and an Evening of Recollection.
Each student must choose the name of a Saint as his/her Confirmation name and write a report on the life of this Saint. Students must also complete 25 hours of service time and choose a Sponsor.
Sponsors must be practicing Catholics, have received the sacraments of Baptism and Confirmation and be 16 years of age or older. A Sponsor may be a relative, but not a parent.
All necessary forms must be completed and submitted to the Religious Education Office. For additional information, call the Religious Education Office at 732.530.0717.
Please call the Parish Center one year in advance to make arrangements.
Pre-Cana - Attending a Pre-Cana class prior to the marriage is a mandatory requirement of the Diocese.
Engaged couples are responsible for registering for Pre-Cana as soon as their wedding date is set. Pre-Cana classes are also available at parishes throughout the Diocese of Trenton.
