The Helping Harvest Garden is a new ministry at Saint Leo’s!
 
Starting small, it was created with the help of donated tomato, pepper and basil plants.  It is located behind the Parish Center, adjacent to the AAC.  Some of our Seventh and Eighth Grade Students are working in the garden to earn community service hours in preparation for their Confirmation.
 
The purpose of the garden is to allow the students to learn a little information about vegetable gardening, but more importantly, to use the garden’s yield to provide fresh Summer produce for some neighbors to enjoy.
 
Please wish us luck, some sunshine, a bit of rain, and for the deer to take a sudden dislike to nibbling on garden plants!
